This shot was taken close to the parking lot at Emily Stevens Pond Park, just northwest of the Wilson Bridge. And for those of you who speak French, I did not make up the name of this butte. I'm told it was the old-time French trappers that were responsible for much of the local color.
There's a great light here! I can imagine how does it feel to walk on there. I love the air and the feeling of the last minutes of light on the nature like this one!
Beautiful scenery and composition. The eyes follow the water line and meet the snowy hill the dramatic sky stands out. Nice photowork, colors and detail are great.
